I am very excited to tell you about a programme I am working on at the moment…..it is all about unusual, and sometimes unconventional ways of giving birth. Having had a straight forward C section when I gave birth to Belle I was intrigued to hear about other womens’ birth plans. It should be an interesting programme!
I’m delighted to tell you that I have been made ambassador for Remescar. This is a cream I use on my scars and it really helps to soften and smooth out my skin. I wear it under my makeup and it is a vital part of my daily routine. Remember my mantra….”Try to be the best version of yourself that you can possibly be!” and this cream definitely helps me to do that!

Stylist Life Lesson: “Things Get Better” by Katie Piper
The incredibly inspirational Katie Piper takes to the stage to share the most important life lesson she wants other women to know, followed by a Q&A with the audience. In 2008, a brutal rape and acid attack organised by an ex-boyfriend left the then-24-year-old facially disfigured. Over 200 operations later, she has rebuilt her confidence and is now a best-selling international author, inspirational speaker, charity campaigner and TV presenter.
I was so excited to asked to present an award at the 2015 Baftas. Back in 2010 I had been in the audience when Jessie Versluys won The Break-Through Talent Award for producing and directing my documentary “My Beautiful Face.” That was an exciting time but fast forward 5 years and here I was about to present a Bafta! It was an honour to see so many talented people being recognised for their work and I was proud (and a little nervous!) to be part of it. I wore a lacy dress by Kolchagov Barba.
I am thrilled to tell you all that the paperback version of “Beautiful Ever After” has made it to Number 9 in the Sunday Times Best Seller list! Thank you to everyone who has bought it, I hope you enjoyed the extra chapter at the end!
On Friday and Saturday (20th and 21st March) I had the exciting (and challenging!) task of organizing a fashion show at the Ideal Home Show in London. This was a fashion show with a difference: I called it ‘Confidence – The Secret’ because confidence is something you can use to express yourself and convey yourself and it’s something I’ve used through several periods of my life. I wanted to challenge the conventional catwalk so I chose models from my foundation, the Katie Piper Foundation, and Models of Diversity. It’s not about trying to look and be perfect, it’s about a positive mindset and being the best version of yourself that you can possibly be.
If you want to see the show again I shall be back there on Good Friday 3rd April.
On Thursday 19th February I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life!! I took part in a fashion show: Fashion for Relief, organised by Naomi Campbell to raise money to help eradicate the Ebola crisis currently sweeping across western Africa. The show, at Somerset House, marked the start of London Fashion Week. As you may already know I love anything to do with fashion but to actually take part in one was, I thought, an unobtainable dream! It was very scary to be on the catwalk surrounded by all the other models…I was actually shaking! Luckily I didn’t fall over and made it back safely. It was a wonderful feeling to hear all the cheers and applause and I felt extremely proud to be able to show the world that burns survivors can strut their stuff on the catwalk!

I was thrilled to be asked to appear on “Loose Women” again! It’s one of my favourite programmes (not that I have much time for daytime TV any more!) I was talking about my latest series of BodyShockers on Channel 4 on Wednesday nights. I’ve really enjoyed filming it and have met some very interesting people! Here’s some details of what I wore for the show:
Jumper Marks and Spencer. Trousers River Island. Shoes New Look and handbag Aspinal of London.
So here is the official engagement picture! Now we have a wedding to plan! Happy times!!
